A miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte occuring in Bhutan, Sikkim India, Nepal, eastern Himalayas, Sikkim, Myanamar, Thailand and Vietnam in tropical valleys at elevations of 600 to 1900 meters with a short stem carrying several linear leaves with bilobed apices and articulated to the stem below that blooms in the spring and summer on an axillary, lateral, 1" [2.5 cm] long, few to several flowered, racemose inflorecence .
